BRP EXTREME DUTY REAR AXLES
After months of development and field testing we are proud to announce the availability of replacement rear axles for 04/05 Yamaha Rhino's.
Gone are the worries of broken CV joints and twisted off axle shafts while in some remote location. We incorporated the quality materials you would expect to find in a trail worthy set of driveline components such as:
* Using 4130 axle shafts that are turned down to the optimum diameter that is larger than stock but doesn't have the shock bolt interference problem associated with aftermarket axles and then doing a post machining heat treat process for toughness and reliability.
* Eliminating the troublesome floating bearing cage that is the most common cause of failure and instead using a fully supported cage that virtually eliminates the possibility of cage separation.
* Improving the maximum angle of deflection from the stock 31 degrees to a full 45 degrees eliminating the inherent design flaw of running CV angles at maximum angle of deflection at full droop as found with the factory axles.
* Counter boring the inner CVs to eliminate nearly two lbs of unnecessary weight per axle as compared with the competitors.
* CV housings that have nearly twice the wall thickness over stock and automotive size bearings.
Got a broken axle under warranty? Tell your Dealer you want a BRP Extreme Duty replacements and apply the credit from the factory replacement costs towards ours and spend more time riding and less time on the trailer.
Axles have a one year repair or replacement warranty against breakage. CV boots excluded from warranty.
