Our stage one engine kit is for those of you that have installed the CDI and are looking for improved throttle response and improved acceleration. This Carb/Exhaust combo will dramatically improve your Rhino in these two areas. Independent dyno testing (with appropriate air box modifications consisting of at least two TPI valves) have shown a solid 5 hp gain over stock. That’s an improvement of 15%. These are real numbers not marketing hype to part you from your money.

The Exhaust and Carb were developed to work in conjunction with the CDI to deliver the maximum amount of improved acceleration (torque). The noise level of the exhaust is louder than stock with a rating of 106 db but can be toned down to 102 db with an optional Quiet Core insert (purchased separately).

With the improved flow characteristics of the Edelbrock Carb and the addition of an adjustable accelerator pump the engine really “snaps” when the throttle is stabbed. Gone is the “rubber band” wind up syndrome of the stock carb. No longer do you have to wrestle with a complete tear down of the carb to change jetting or adjust needle height. With an external adjustment knob for needle height and a single plug access to the main jet, tuning is made simple even if you have never tuned a carb in your life. No pilot circuits or air fuel mixture screws make this the simplest, yet best high performance carb available.

For straightforward bolt on power this combo is tough to beat!
